Warm Forager Project Cashewmilk is steeped with antioxidant rich turmeric and ginger to relax your mind and soothe your stomach. Whole black peppercorns help enhance the absorption of turmeric – together they can improve digestion and inflammation.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Forager Project Cashewmilk
  • 1” piece fresh turmeric, unpeeled, thinly sliced
  • ½” piece ginger, unpeeled, thinly sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons agave (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
  • Ground cinnamon, for serving

Prep

  • Put Forager Project Cashewmilk, sliced turmeric, sliced ginger, 1 cinnamon stick, ground turmeric, peppercorns and agave (if using) in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, until flavors have fully steeped.
  • Strain into mugs and top with a dash of cinnamon. On a hot day, let the tea cool and serve over ice for a refreshing treat.
