Charred fruit is one of my favorite things; the smoky flavors and the crispy natural sugars take the bite off citrus and bring a new dimension to fruit. Topped with cool creamy Cashewmilk Yogurt…, this one is sure to become a brunch favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 ruby red grapefruit, halved
  • 3 tablespoons agave, maple syrup, or sweetener of choice
  • ½ cup Vanilla Cashewmilk Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds for garnish

Prep

Turn broiler on high.

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of your sweetener over the two grapefruit halves and place on a sheet pan. Broil until nice and charred, approximately 10 minutes.

While the grapefruit is broiling, whisk together the remaining sweetener and Vanilla Cashewmilk Yogurt.

Remove broiled grapefruit and drizzle with Cashewmilk Yogurt mixture, garnish with hemp seeds and enjoy.
