Yogurt made better

If you don’t know what matcha is, prepare for enlightenment. Matcha is a powder that is made of green tea leaves that are ground into an amazing powder full of nutrients that you wouldn’t otherwise get from drinking green tea that is brewed. It’s is simple to prepare, beautifully vibrant green and tastes absolutely divine. You can mix matcha with water or any milk alternatives as well as bake and cook with it!

Matcha lattes are a great alternative to coffee. Matcha does contain caffeine but is much easier on your body to digest and is also high in antioxidants. Enjoy this oatmilk latte over ice in the warm months and hot in the cooler months.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1-2 tsp agave (optional)
  • 1 cup Forager Project Organic Oatmilk
  • 1/2 cup ice

Prep

  • In a small mixing bowl or cup, add the matcha powder and water and mix with a whisk until well combined. Add agave if you want to add sweetness.
  • Fill a glass with ice and 1 cup of Forager Project Organic Oatmilk.
  • Pour the mixture of matcha and water over the glass of oatmilk and ice. Mix well until combined and enjoy.
