Packed with potassium and curcuminoids, this smoothie is excellent for a post-workout recovery. Do not forget to include the black pepper as it helps the absorption of turmeric.  For a sweeter version, include maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 small banana
  • 1 cup Forager Project Vanilla Cashewmilk Yogurt
  • ½ cup ice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 small piece fresh turmeric, about 1-2” or 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Prep

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth and enjoy!
