Cheesy White Sauce
“CHEESY” WHITE SAUCE
1 can (15 oz.) great northern beans
6 tbsp Forager Project Original or Unsweetened Plain Cashew Milk
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup nutritional yeast
½ tsp oregano
¼ tsp red pepper flakes, or more to taste
Pinch of salt and pepper
- Pour beans through a mesh strainer and rinse with water, then pour the beans into a blender.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the blender and pulse until smooth. If you want the sauce to be a bit thinner, add 1-2 tbsp of water.
- Pour sauce on top of pasta and enjoy! Or maybe we think of something else to put it on
