Market Sales Manager

Forager Project is an organic, plant based California crafted Food Company established in 2013. We are currently looking for a Market Sales Manager for the Midwest area. Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel at store level to drive sales, increase market/store presence and promote Forager branded products in natural and conventional channels. Coordinate and execute in-store merchandising opportunities including but not limited to store promotions, off-shelf placement, setting up displays, shelf maintenance and enhancement.

  • Provide merchandising support, as needed, to all assigned stores

  • Identify and act on opportunities in every account.

  • Work with distributor(s), as needed; check placement of Forager products including "enjoy by dates" and as per schematics. Provide (+/-) feedback to Manager.

  • Organize and coordinate in-store demonstrations, working with store or demo company personnel. Engage and educate store personnel to increase customer base and build brand loyalty. 

  • Support assigned region/area retail accounts based on location and need including but not limited to in-store merchandising and marketing events.

  • Complete weekly reports that summarize the merchandising sales data and marketing events in your region including demo performance, sales support and marketing initiatives and execution at store level. 

  • Establish and maintain in-depth product knowledge on both Forager and competitive products

  • Other duties as may be assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum 3-years' experience in sales, sales merchandising, marketing and event promotion, in-store and area experience in assigned area/region. Strong customer service skills. Works well with people. Ability to promote the Forager brand enthusiastically and effectively to others. Positive, engaging, and self-motivated. Experience negotiating with store managers and in-store employees. In-store product demonstration experience a plus. Organized and demonstrated ability to effectively time manage. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Must be a licensed driver (valid IL License) with a clean driving record and reliable car. Flexibility with travel. Willing to participate in Trade Shows or other sales events, as needed.
