Our Vegan Cheesemaking Process


First, we make cultured yogurt from organic cashews. 



Next, we blend the yogurt with specially selected organic ingredients to achieve the best flavor and texture as well as incredible melt and stretch.



Then, we create cheese using traditional cheesemaking techniques and processes. 



The cheese is cooled then aged to further develop unique flavor and texture. Once aged, the cheese is separated and packaged into portions of grates or crumbles.


Cheese storage

If you purchased Forager Project® cheese and are wondering how to best store it – our cheese should be stored in the refrigerator. Once you’ve opened the cheese, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
